may develop this capability later
"Sunday service" site for "attendance" from home
may need later
chat or conference online area for council

Yahoo Groups for email mailing list: "mvseekers"

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mvseekers/

this group is now used for invited prospects and members

Initial board (3 seekers) present the concept to prospective founding council

1st meeting: 22 September,

others: see council meetings

some prospectives join council (~5-7 councillors)
4 have committed at New Beginning meeting - 22 December 2002
Council has ongoing meetings to hash out some of the concepts and reach concord:
revise "public" site with agreed-upon presentation
Discussions are ongoing among council as to the wording of the "public" site. Revisions will be posted to the "development" area of the private council area of the seekers site.
review legal structure for community/fellowship, take necessary steps to establish properly
Discussions will begin with various attorneys and other counsel to find one that we can feel comfortable with for our advisor.
create printed presentation literature - brochures, cards

Printed presentation material is a ways off, but perhaps we could print up economical cards which would reference the web address, where current material could be found

In the interim:
Plan a series of "open" seekers meetings
For now, it is proposed that the Sunday, 10 AM - Noon meetings be the "discussion / presentation" meetings that new attenders may be invited to and that membership will be sought from, as well as other prospective council.
Establish (set date and place) first "open" meeting to invite other seekers to
June 1, 2003 was the date of our first public "First Sunday" meeting

At this point,
We invite others to join in our fellowship

(note that invitation makes this still a private organization, like a club.)

Have first "open" meeting for other seekers
June 1, 2003
Council to evaluate feedback and progress, fine tune announcements, meetings, programs
Council to establish regular routine for local seekers gathering
When local gathering is stable, council establish procedure for growth into other geographical areas
