a seeker library

Many have expressed concerns about knowledge and learning that have led to the vision of establishing a library for our gathering of seekers. Some of the concerns and suggestions that have been expressed are:

  • there is a need to keep and preserve some knowledge in books that may become less and less available from public library sources,
  • many have already aquired books with valuable information in them that are now out-of-print,
  • many would willingly share their personal library of books to make the information available to others who cannot afford or find the books in question,
  • though much information is available now over the internet, our preservation of the written word may be a helpful backup, should censorship of online information become oppressive,
  • the library would contain useful educational material for our members.
