Different people have mentioned a different vision for a local gathering of seekers, so here is a listing of some of those visions...
Find a "roof over our gathering" - a place for our gatherings, and to house our other visions of a library and a school.

Create a library with books that may be interesting to other seekers

  • many would contribute or loan books they own
  • purchases could be made to obtain other important works
  • a catalog of books could be made available online
Create a web presence with access for members to many benefits (to be created after council resolution on membership structure)

Create a school or at least classes in some subjects for adults, as well as children

seminar subjects for life skills improvement (open to public for higher fee)

  • healthy diet and cooking
  • family financial management/get out of debt
  • basic legal education for everyday life
  • communications skills - everything from conversation to internet use
  • research skills for those "seeking" the truth on any subject
Have regular Sunday meetings to inspire members after a week of the daily grind
Buying club - pooled purchasing power for foods, fuels, other goods
Credit Union - economical and appropriate banking and lending for members
